January 10th, 2015, an amazing winter extreme sports festival took place at the Krylatskoe Sports Center, Moscow.
The World Snowboard Tour event Grand Prix de Russie Big Air took place for the third time in Moscow. This year the event was held on the giant artificial slope 50 m high and 200 m long, built especially for the event at the Krylatskoe Sports Center.
The strongest riders from Finland, Norway, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Canada and Russia took part in the event and showed their best skills and breathtaking tricks.
The winners of the Grand Prix de Russie:
1. Roope Tonteri (Finland)
2. Petr Horak (Czech Republic)
3. Carlos Gerber (Switzerland)
Over 3000 fans of snowboarding had a chance to watch unforgettable performance of riders, as well as colorful fireworks show and a concert of a popular music band.
