Riding since he was 9, Norwegian native Aleksander Østreng started killing it on the home-front at national level events progressing to the WSF World Rookie Fest and on to his first World Snowboard Tour Elite level Burton European Open in 2009. After graduating from Norway’s internationally renowned Norges Toppidrettsgymnas College of Elite Sport in 2010, Alek’s immense riding talent was picked up by Forum’s Youngbloods Team and since then he’s been right at home competing at Pro level events, across the globe.

A regular finalist-rider from Regional to Elite level events, Alek packs a proper trick stash. Combining tech and natural talent, with some heavy rotations and style for days, he’s thrown down on many a competition set-up. Claiming a number of World Snowboard Tour podiums along the way, such as the prestigious Air+Style Innsbruck event, Switzerland’s Burton European Open in Laax, and Italy’s Burn River Jump in Livigno.
