Louie Vito is many things: he’s an Olympian, he’s a Winter X Games winner, he’s a U.S. Grand Prix champion, and he’s a professional star dancer. In his teenage years, Vito moved to Vermont to pursue his love for snowboarding; he quickly joined the Stratton Mountain School, which is a respected snowboarding academy. After graduating high school, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Till now, Louie’s biggest successes are probably his both gold medals at the 2011 and 2013 European Winter X Games. Furthermore, he’s got himself another three X Games medals, two Burton US Open podium finishes and in 2012, he came in third at the 6 Star World Snowboarding Championships. Plus, as mentioned, he totally killed it at the mega-hit show “Dancing With the Stars” with his professional dancing partner Chelsie Hightower. Three months later, he represented the United States at his first Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.

Louie Vito currently lives in Sandy, Utah with his dog Gucci. Besides snowboarding, he’s into skating, golfing, music and just plain chilling.
