An absolute machine on a snowboard, no matter the terrain, Finnish rider Peetu Piiroinen is a snowboarding competition MASTER. The most successful rider ever on the World Snowboard Tour, the 4-time TTR Overall World Tour Champion has checked up over 50 podium results over his career. He claims his favorite rider is Kazu Kokubo because, as he says, “Kazu has great style and goes big in any terrain. He’s also a super nice guy, which is very important, too.” We think this statement says a lot about Peetu’s nature.
Claiming wins at the most prestigious World Snowboard Tour events, Peetu has stood on the Burton European Open podium at least 8 times in his career, taking multiple wins at events such as the O’Neill Evolution, Oakley Arctic Challenge and several Air+Style’s. Far from an attention-seeking fan of the limelight, Peetu would rather let his riding do the speaking for him. And his riding speaks volumes…
Off-snow the Hyvinkää local likes to play golf, tennis and spends time with his friends.
