Tyler was all over jumps and rails from the moment he started snowboarding at 7 years old. From North Bay, Ontario, the Canadian rider has made freestyle snowboarding competition his living dream.
All for it, Tyler started getting serious about his contest riding in 2008, when he got on board with the Simple Snowboarding crew. Under the watchful eye of coach Sam Marcotte, Tyler’s riding progressed in a big way. Tyler’s made his way around the globe dropping in on everything on the World Snowboard Tour from Canada’s Shred Show to Andorra’s Total Fight, from New Zealand’s Burton High 5’s to The Poney Session in France and claiming podiums at most, along the way…
Off-snow when he’s not dry-land training, Tyler’s an avid wakeboarder, and he dedicates much of his time on the water to coaching kids and getting them amongst it. He’s also a bit of a dirt-bike fiend, loves his motoX and quad bikes…
